All vehicle rentals require acceptance of a Rental Agreement, which you will receive at the time of booking confirmation or vehicle pickup. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will be the governing document.

A valid driving licence applicable to the vehicle category is required, having been held for the minimum duration noted in the Rental Agreement. Customers must present valid identification and proof of their current address. Additionally, valid payment details and a security deposit are necessary. Booking and Payment Process
- Reservations can be completed via our website, by telephone, or at our Denton office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The total payment and security deposit are usually due upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT when applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed through trusted payment systems.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of collection, it is your responsibility to conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by both parties. Please ensure the vehicle is returned in a similar state to when it was collected, taking into account normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and may incur additional charges. The vehicle should be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental; otherwise, refueling fees will be applied. If you anticipate returning the vehicle late, please inform us as soon as possible, as late returns may result in extra fees. You will be held accountable for any parking fines, traffic violations, or charges that arise during your rental period, along with an administration fee.
Insurance and Liability Terms
- All rentals include basic third-party insurance, with full details and excess amounts outlined in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be offered to help lower your financial responsibility. It is advisable to review these options closely. You will be liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, unless you opt for additional coverage. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or failure to show up may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Your Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, including racing, rallying, or off-roading. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Ensure the vehicle is used within its design specifications, including passenger and weight limits. Driving outside the agreed geographical boundaries requires prior approval.
Violation of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Denton is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business related to your use of our services. Our liability for any claims is capped at the amount you paid for the rental in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or fraud.
